Simone Biles, Zac Efron finally meet: ‘Just call me Mrs. Efron already’

American gymnast Simone Biles has had even more dreams come true after winning four gold medals at the Rio Olympics — and it’s all because of Zac Efron.
Biles and Efron started tweeting back and forth earlier this month, when it emerged that Biles has harboured a crush on the High School Musical actor for years. She even revealed she has a cardboard cut-out of him in her room, which she says she “used to kiss on the cheek.”

It seems like the admiration is mutual. When the pair finally came face-to-face in Rio de Janeiro, Efron said his “Olympic dream came true.”

Efron and Biles shared pictures of the encounter on Twitter, and Efron said he was rooting for the Americans during the floor exercise final.
Biles won the event and completed a historic run in Rio: she won five medals in eight days.

So how did the two get together? They have U.S. news anchor Hoda Kotb to thank. The 17 Again actor was introduced to the 19-year-old gymnast during a TV segment with the host.
Biles even took to Twitter to thank Kotb for arranging the surprise meet-up.

Biles was very excited when she received the support of the writers and cast of Pretty Little Liars, which is a high school murder mystery series and one of her favourite shows.
When the official Pretty Little Liars twitter account posted a video of the show’s creator, I. Marlene King, inviting Biles and the rest of the Final Five down to the set, she was ecstatic in her response.

Canadian Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily in the beloved show, also shared her admiration of the gymnast.
